	The story that the government and media tell about 9-11 is full of holes; it is one boldface lie after another.  Yet if you watch TV or read the newspapers they stick with the official story line so well that one is lulled into the "consensus reality" that what is being said is true. Fortunately there are many resources available to help cut through this web of deception. David Icke Let us consider what all this means.  Lets start with a brief summary. -  There has never been a major steel building that has fallen as the result of a fire, any fire, either before or after 911.  That's why the firefighters went up into the buildings.  Hey, New York is made up of steel framed high rise buildings, some of the most expensive in the world.  No one has called the New York fire department incompetent because they were using what is still standard procedure.  The exception is 9-11 itself when three buildings totally collapsed, supposedly as the result of fires.   -Jet fuel, which is basically kerosene, does not burn nearly hot enough to melt steel even under the most ideal conditions.  The black smoke coming from the towers indicates the fires were starved for oxygen and thus were not all that hot. - Building 7, a 48 story structure across the street from the twin towers, was not hit by a plane nor by any major amount of debris from the twin towers.  Yet photographs show some small fires burning on a couple of floors of the building for no known reason.  Then at 5:30 that afternoon it just fell in on itself.  Videos of the event look exactly like a controlled demolition, which takes weeks of advance preparation including placing of many hundreds of explosive charges. - Despite the fact that four planes were supposedly hijacked, none of the pilots in the planes set off the hijack alert buttons. - There is no photographic evidence of a 767 airliner hitting the Pentagon.  The available evidence suggests it was hit by a remotely flown global hawk aircraft.  The initial hole in the Pentagon was much smaller than even the distance between the two engines of a 747.  The hole was at ground level, yet the grass in front of it was undisturbed.  Only "eyewitnesses" say a 767 hit the Pentagon.   - No air force jets were scrambled in time to interfere with events of 9-11.  It has been standard policy for many years to send air force fighter jets up to intercept and investigate planes that go off course or into restricted air space. - No one has been held accountable for the many and massive failures in security which happened on 9-11. - The mass media, rather than playing a watchdog function in this matter, has instead supported the government's versions of events.  The mass media is in with the government on this matter. - Nine-eleven was used as a pretext to invade Afghanistan and then Iraq. - Right after 9-11 congress passed the "Patriot Act" in a cynical move to chip away at more and more of our constitutional rights.  This huge bill, which must have been years in the making, was nicely all ready to go in the stressed-out immediate aftermath of the attacks.  The Patriot Act gave us the department of Homeland Security under Lenin-look-alike Michael Chertoff.  Homeland Security's response to hurricane Katrina was to put lots of efforts into stopping people from aiding people who needed help, thereby justifying an even bigger budget.  We can tell that our government has gone socialist when bureaucratic failure and incompetence is rewarded with ever increasing funding. What really happened?  Based on my study of the issue, it appears that elements of our own government were deeply involved in 9-1, up to and including President Bush.  The attacks were staged to justify taking away more of our rights via things like "The Patriot Act" and increased "security" at airports.  Nine-eleven was used as a pretext to invade Afghanistan and then Iraq.    When the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan in the 1980's we supported the Taliban in their fight against the Soviets and their Norther Alliance Allies.  In fact the CIA can be credited with literally creating the radical Islamic movement during Jimmy Carter's presidency.  The CIA stirred up a "popular resistance" movement against the government in Afghanistan which was on friendly terms with Moscow.  Essentially the Soviets were suckered into what was visualized as their "Viet Nam", i.e. a long drawn out military action against a hostile civilian population.        Afghanistan became a magnet and training ground for those wishing to defend Islamic culture. After the Soviets were driven out the Taliban  suppressed opium production.  Since 9-11 we switched sides and threw our support to the Northern Alliance.  With the defeat of the Taliban opium production in Afghanistan has returned to normal levels making Afghanistan the number one producer of opium in the world.  Even more importantly, Afghanistan has huge untapped natural resources which giant international corporations would love to get their hands on.     Why all this Afghanistan stuff?  What does it have to do with 9-11?  Well, that is exactly the question we need to be asking, isn't it?     Can you say GLOBALIZATION?  Insiders have been working tirelessly for a one world government, the New World Order. Resources    Here are some resources for your own investigation into 9-11.  How important is this?  Well, how important would it be for you to know if elements of our own government orchestrated events on 9-11, that the media cooperated with them fully, and thus that the so called war on terror is nothing but a ploy?  Will you want your children to fight and perhaps die in this bogus war?  Are you willing to stand still while the government takes away your rights of privacy and free speech as part of this "war"?  That's how important it is. The Destruction of the World Trade Center: Why the Official Account Cannot be True      By David Ray Griffin    This is a 62 page analysis of many of the distortions and omissions in the government's version of how the World Trade Center buildings fell down.  Mr. Griffin does a nice job of getting right down to important facts.  Just reading the first 17 pages will provide you with an abundance of data contrary to what you will read in the newspapers, but if you wish there are plenty of footnotes other sources given for you to look more deeply into what he says. Painful Questions, An analysis of the September 11th Attack By Eric Hufschmid    This book goes into more detail on the 9-11 attack and has plenty of photos for you to look at.   Eric Hufschmid is a courageous individual started out believing what he heard on TV, then became skeptical, and began doing research of his own.  He is a wonderful example of how an individual person can do valid research and then publicise results using the Internet.  Look at the large color photographs and see for yourself.   Alice in Wonderland and the World Trade Center Disaster, Why the official story of 9/11 is a monumental lie By David Icke    David Icke has done a tremendous job of looking into almost every aspect of 9-11 in great detail.  If everyone in the US read this book we would likely have another revolution the next day because David Icke cuts the government and media stories into little pieces time and time again.
